Yoga for Stress Reduction classes are designed to offer a nourishing space for those struggling with anxiety, trauma, and daily life stress to practice yoga. These classes are similar to any other gentle yoga class, while emphasizing the importance of choice, self-regulation, and embodiment. Under the guidance of a licensed therapist, this class will assist participants in attuning to sensations with mindful presence, developing centering and grounding techniques, and embodying a sense of strength and control.
Practices may include breath work, relaxation techniques, mudra, and meditation, woven into a grounding yoga sequence. No previous yoga experience necessary. Mats will be provided
Who: Women/Teens ages 16+
Cost: $16 per class, class packages available
